CIP to develop new apartment community on Cotner site
January 13, 2020 – CIP, a Midwest-based property management and development company, has announced plans to start construction of a new luxury apartment community at 225 N. Cotner Blvd. in Lincoln, NE.
The planned 153-unit apartment complex, which is not yet named, will feature four floors of apartments in a variety of layouts, as well as two levels of underground parking for residents. Premium amenities will include a resort-style pool and hot tub, fitness room, yoga room and electronic package lockers. Plans for the horseshoe-shaped building also include a top-floor sky lounge with a full kitchen, community room and outdoor deck.
Situated at the northwest corner of N. Cotner Blvd. and P St., at the former site of Home Real Estate, the new residential development will provide easy access to retail, professional services and major employers. Nearby businesses include Gateway Mall, Ameritas, the LPS District Office, Chipotle, Whole Foods, Hy-Vee and Natural Grocers, among many others. The location is also within walking distance of StarTran's #44 bus route.
The building is expected to be completed in 24 months.
