CIP Communities received two awards at the 29th Annual MADACS Awards, hosted by the Minnesota Multi Housing Association (MHA) in Minneapolis on September 20. The event honors excellence in the multi-family housing industry across various categories, and this year marks the sixth consecutive year CIP has been recognized for its outstanding contributions.

Megan Larson, leasing specialist at Aspire at CityPlace, was recognized for her exemplary leasing skills, winning the award for Leasing Consultant. “Megan’s commitment to providing an unmatched experience for prospective and current residents truly sets her apart. Her passion and dedication are evident in everything she does,” said Alyssa Tao, senior community business manager. “This award is well-deserved, and we couldn’t be prouder.”

CIP Communities also continued its legacy of community involvement, winning the Community Support Program award for the fifth time. Through its partnership with Best Christmas Ever (BCE), CIP’s Minnesota communities—including Ascend at Woodbury (Woodbury), Aspire at CityPlace (Woodbury), The Central (Minneapolis), The Preserve at Normandale Lake (Bloomington), and The Rowan (Eagan)—came together this holiday season once again to make a difference. This year, they raised over $24,000 and countless donations of clothing, art supplies, and toys to support two deserving families battling cancer. “This initiative has become a cornerstone of our community efforts, and we’re honored to receive recognition once again,” said Jay Hanson, senior regional manager. “It’s not just about the financial support—it’s about making a meaningful impact and living out our core value of servanthood.” CIP's efforts provided financial peace of mind and special moments of joy—like game nights and meals out—to help them navigate these challenges.
