The new apartment community, named The Knock Apartments, will be composed of 99 units in studio, one-, and two-bed layouts. Each apartment will be available in two color styles, complete with high-end finishes such as quartz countertops, hardwood-style floors, stainless steel appliances, and washer and dryer.
The former space will be nearly unrecognizable when the top to bottom renovation is complete. Existing common spaces will be transformed into amenity areas for residents including a game room, community kitchen, co-working space, and expansive fitness center.
“The complete remodeling of this building into what will be known as The Knock Apartments is very exciting as we haven’t done something quite like this yet,” said Josh Turner, CIP Communities senior community business manager. “We’re looking forward to seeing the community come to life and welcoming residents to their new homes.”
The Knock Apartments is in a convenient north Lincoln location, in close proximity to I-80, retail stores, restaurants, and University of Nebraska-Lincoln. The community is down the street from retailers Sam’s Club, Hy-Vee, and NorthStar Crossing, a future shopping center set to have 500,000 square feet of commercial and retail space. Nearby local restaurants include A Taste of Louisiana, Villa Amore, and Blessing Thai. Sandhills Global, Kawasaki, and Lincoln Electric System are several major employers in the area.
